The facilities at St Mary's are excellent. We are constantly upgrading resources to ensure that we are providing our students with the tools that they need in order to thrive in the 21st century. Consequently we have made a commitment to provide interactive whiteboards in every grade. All classes will have an interactive whiteboard within the foreseeable future as we believe that they provide a powerful tool for learning. Each classroom has access to computers in the classroom as well. We have a computer Lab that provides opportunities for all students to develop their skills with I.T. as well as enabling teachers to utilise technology as a teaching tool.

A commitment to promote the skills of all students is paramount at St Mary's. We encourage all students to develop their ability in sport and have provided excellent facilities for them to use which ensures that all students can actively participate in sport. We have netball courts, a basketball court, cricket nets as well as large open playing fields.

The younger members of our school community enjoy playing in the huge sandpit as well as the large play gym that is always a great favourite.

Sun protection is vital; we have a large covered area that enables the students to play in the shade.

A prime focus for our school community is around the large wooden cross. We gather there for liturgies throughout the year. It is a peaceful area that provides a place to sit and contemplate.
We also have a passive play area that enables students who are not feeling active to gather. The passive play area has seats and shade and is in a quiet area of the school.

The students of St Mary's have been very active in the garden.  As a result we now have a large vegetable garden which provides opportunities for students who are interested to learn about gardening as well as take home produce that has been grown by the group.

We also have a school canteen that operates five days a week. This is a healthy canteen and operated with the assistance of parent volunteers and a canteen manager.

The beautification of the school grounds is an ongoing task. We are very proud of the improvements that have been made over the last two years with the planting of a large number of native trees and shrubs as well as new garden beds. We are very lucky to have a committed groundsman and supportive parents. We have more plans for future development of the school grounds.

We take great pride in our commitment to the environment. We believe that we need to not only ensure that our students respect the land and look after the environment but lead by example. Our school relies totally on green energy. We have a strong commitment to recycling as well. In the last 12 months we have installed water tanks that are used to irrigate the school grounds and gardens.
